Changing Locations
MultiHop proxies can connect to any one of our available locations and can change locations without limit.
SingleHop proxies can connect to any one of our available locations and have one chance to change to a different location. After the location is changed, the proxy is locked to that location for 10 days.
In order to connect your license to a location (or change the existing location), scroll down to the bottom of the proxy license page to view the available locations list.
Simply find your desired location and click on the Connect button. If you are already connected to a location, the license will disconnect from its current location and connect to the new location.
If you see Location Full (Try Again Later), this is because there are currently no available modems in that location for your proxy to connect to. Each modem in every location is first-come first-serve, so if you require a location which is currently full, you will need to wait for other users to disconnect.
IP Whitelisting
Setting an IP Whitelist allows you to connect to your proxy via HTTP or Socks5 without a username and password. Note that IP Whitelist cannot be used concurrently with EasyPort.
1. On your proxy license page, select the HTTP / SOCKS5 Proxy tab, and click the green Enable IP Whitelist button.
2. Upon enabling the IP Whitelist, you’ll see the Set IP Whitelist button.
3. Click Set IP Whitelist and input the IP you would like to whitelist in CIDR form (what is CIDR?). (For example, 48.154.30.5/32 or 173.89.30.0/24)
Most users can simply whitelist their public IP address, which you can find by going to https://whoer.net. You’ll see your public IP address at the top of the page, which you can set as the Whitelist IP as xxx.xxx.xx.xx/32 (where the x’s represent your public IP address, and you must append either /32 or /24 at the end).
Auto IP Renewal
Enabling and setting Auto IP Renewal will allow the proxies to automatically rotate to new public IP addresses at your specified frequency.
1. Start by clicking the green Enable Auto IP Renewal button.
2. Now you can set a timer between 1 minute and 1440 minutes before the next IP change. Type in the number of minutes you want between rotations, and click the green Set Auto-Renewal Time Interval button.
3. Once you set the renewal interval, you'll be redirected back to your main proxy page, where you'll see the time for the next scheduled IP change. To disable automatic rotation, simply click the red Edit Auto IP Renewal button and set the time to 0 minutes.
