iPhone/iPad
1. Download the Shadowrocket app from the App Store. Note that it currently costs $2.99 USD. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shadowrocket/id932747118
2. Open the app and Allow notification access. Select Add Server (or the + button at the top) and under Type, switch to Socks5.
3. Set an easily identifiable name for the config, such as MobileHop. Then input the details from your proxy license page for the Socks5 proxy, including the Proxy IP Address; port 9000; User proxy; and Password as it appears in the proxy license page. Verify you have input the correct details, and hit Save at the top to save the config.
Note: If you're using EasyPort, use the EasyPort URL instead of the Proxy IP Address, and use the unique EasyPort port number from your proxy license page.
4. On the main screen, toggle the Connection switch near the top. If Shadowrocket asks permission to create a VPN profile, select OK. If it asks to Add VPN Configurations, select Allow. The iPhone may ask for a PIN or biometric ID to confirm. Input the PIN or biometric ID, and you should now be connected to your MobileHop proxy.
Android
1. Currently, the Shadowrocket available on the Google Play Store does not work with our proxies. Instead, download version 10.9.0 or newer directly from the developer's GitHub: https://github.com/Pawdroid/shadowrocket_for_android/releases
Note: Depending on your Android phone's SOC architecture, make sure to choose the correct installer package. Most users will probably need the arm64-v8a release; if it does not work, try armeabi-v7a or the universal release.
2. Once the package is installed, open the app and allow notification access. Tap the Add config icon at the top, select Type manually, then select Socks.
3. Set an easily identifiable name for the config, such as MobileHop. Then input the details from your proxy license page for the Socks5 proxy, including the Proxy IP Address; port 9000; User proxy; and Password as it appears in the proxy license page. Verify you have input the correct details, and hit the check mark at the top to save the config.
Note: If you're using EasyPort, use the EasyPort URL instead of the Proxy IP Address, and use the unique EasyPort port number from your proxy license page.
4. Once you're back on the main screen, tap the Connect button near the bottom. You should now be connected to your MobileHop proxy.
Note: You may need to allow the VPN connection request if you are using Shadowrocket for the first time, and you may need to skip an ad.
