MacOS native L2TP

1. On your Proxy license page, download the Blue VPN profile labeled โ€œiOS/macOS Profile (Standard)โ€.

2. Open the vpn.mobileconfig file that was downloaded. You will see a "Profile Downloaded" pop-up; click OK to continue.

3. Open System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS), and at the top you will see a new "Profile Downloaded" entry. Select it, and it will automatically take you to General > Device Management. Double-click the VPN profile.

4. At the next window, select Install, then select Install again in the next popup. Enter your password when prompted.

5. Now on the left in your settings pane, select VPN, and toggle on your MobileHop VPN to connect.

OpenVPN for Mac

1. Download and install OpenVPN Connect for Mac: https://openvpn.net/client/

2. Download the OpenVPN Profile (UDP Default) from your proxy license page.

  • If you experience connection issues, try downloading the (UDP Alternate) profile instead.

3. Extract the downloaded .zip file, where you should see an .ovpn and a .conf file inside; keep these two files together in the same folder.

4. Double-click the .ovpn file, and it should open in OpenVPN Connect. Click OK when prompted to import the profile, then click Connect.

5. You may see a pop-up asking to select a certificate; this is not necessary. Simply click Continue to connect to your proxy.
